Dear Jaang,
I ask you whether you are currently teaching Dinka (whether inside or outside Sudan)? Please help me out with some teaching resources that you may have. For example, texts, audiovisuals, tapes and past exam papers.
Your kindness is appreciated in advance. Please contact me at:
William Kuol Baak
Dinka teacher at the School of Languages of South Australia (SOLSA)
Mobile: +61401077195
Email: william.baak@schooloflanguages.sa.edu.au
Let me know if you need my postal address.
Aleec ten yiin,
Kuol Baak
P.S. Note that double 'e' in aleec could be double 'something' that I can't find on my keyboard right now. Hope this will be fixed in the future. _________________ "... we have our history, our common enemy and our cultural similarities. Kuol Bak,
That sounds great! You mean your language/dialect is of any interest to the Australians to an extent that it is being taught at an Australian university? By the way, what can we call you?- a lecturer or tutor since you are teaching a language at a university? (just kidding).
I briefly visited south Australia (Adelaide) last December but could not get most of you guys. Where in Adelaide were you hiding?
I can't think of a way to help you get the materials that you need for your teaching.Good luck.

Lual Dau,
I am a teacher. School of Languages of South Australia (SOLSA) is a secondary school where almost all the other languages, apart from English, in Australia are taught. 2006 is the first year Dinka is being taught in the SOLSA.
I have been always in Adelaide but very busy man. I meet people for minutes not hours. I would have met you for 5 - 10 minutes if you gave me a call while you were here. (Hey, don't believe this).
Aliny Garang,
Thanks man for your wishes. Dinka language will develop, inshalla.
Kind regards,

Dear Kuol Bak,
My congratulation and hail goes to you for being a great hard worker in order to accomplish that wonderful job and experiment.
You're a rock Kuol! Here I believe that no one cuold help you rather than to follow the way that Mayuen had told you.
Lual Dau,
Please don't cheat at the people. When did you learnt the Dinka language so you can help Kuol on what he needs?
Don't be jealous on what the others people do on their life. So, I bet you cuold help him if he wants the Arabic books. And albeit, I know your disdain attitudes toward the others therefore I'm totally disagree you never went to Adelaide, Australia.

Dear respondents,
I apologize for my late feedback.
First and foremost, thank you all for your interest, compliments and suggestions. I am very glad and energized, by your words, to continue teaching and developing Dinka language here in South Australia. I will work in collaboration with uncle Muorwel Ater Muorwel in Melbourne. Hopefully, there is no point of return for Dinka language - it will only get better and better forever.
I am glad to inform you that I managed to get some materials and bought Dinka Keyboard from Tavultesoft Keyman website.
Dinka Keyboard is now installed on my personal and school computers.
Dombai,
I must say thank you very much for your kind words to me and I must also urge you to refrain from rubbing shoulders unnecessarily with Lual Dau. He said nothing bad whatsoever and I believe he did come to South Australia (SA) at the said time. It is not hard for him to come to SA since he lives a couple of kilometres to the south of SA in Tasmania. Be informed that I got what he said and my assessment is that none of his statements is ill-founded.
Once again, thank you ALL for your responses and compliments.
Kind regards,

Kuol Baak,
I wonder why your written "Thong ee jieng" is always of higher standard and striking, "kumbe" you are an scholar. It is always fulfilling to fulfil, feed and invest in one's passion. I remember being in Ethiopia, Pinyudo refugee camp almost 16 years ago, when a person by the name Mayen Ngor used to tell "Jesh-el-ameer" that all the floodplains around Pinyudo River was "mieth nyien", so I guess, I would tell you that everything in the world today "ee mieth nyien" as long as somebody remained determined and focused. South Sudan needs knowledge from all backgrounds. Good luck kid.
~Peace

Kuol Baak,
Thank you man for taking part in Dinka language over there in Adeliade SA. I myself with Mr. Santino Rang Yuot are taking part down here in Sydney N S W. I don't know if you are familiar with that name (Rev. Santino Rang Yuot). He came from east Africa/Kenya and I hope you should know him. The man is doing very well here with me in Sydney.
Muorweldit is working very hard in Melbourne VIC. We need to hear more from Perth WA because I know some guys there, and they should be capable if they desire.
Keep going man ku Nhialic Madhol abi ok kony buk ke wic muonyjang la loi tene kek e puon cin yic tiel.
