The office of the Federation of Aweil Communities in Canada (F.A.C.C) would like to invite all Aweil citizens in Canada and beyond to a general conference scheduled to take place in the province of Alberta, Canada. The conference, planned to last for two days, will kick off on August 5th 2006.  The theme of this year’s conference is: Revisiting the vision and strategies of the F.A.C.C and its relation with other Aweil communities in the Diaspora and those at Home.

Wide-ranging topics will be discussed during the conference and will include, among other things, health situation in Aweil mainland and state of education at Home and among Aweil citizens abroad. To this end, a team of intellectuals has been appointed to do a comprehensive research on different areas of concern and they will be required to present their findings and possible recommendations during the conference.
