2nd Press Release,
From Office of Aweil youth association
In the United States. {AYA-USA}
09-15-2007.
As a continuation of the previous press release dated July 15 2007, the office of Aweil youth association in the United States would once again like to inform Aweil youth general public that our contributions for Nyamlel high School project that was previously proposed to end on the 15th of September 2007 has been extended now for another three months. That is, the contribution process towards this project will officially come to an end on December 15, 2007. Therefore, all the financial contributions for the project should be submitted in, by the representatives of AYA in all States to the secretary for finance of Aweil youth association in the United States not latter than December 15 2007.
Nonetheless, we must all make note that there will be no extension beyond that time since we our focus next year will be on phase (II) of the project not phase (I), which is now a contribution. We are compelled to make this three months extension period because of some other arrangements and preparation that are right now being undertaken and will probably require a significant amount of time to finalize. One of which I should say, is the on-going nomination and election of the representatives who will be representing Aweil youths association in the United States in all States that have Aweil youths population.
As a reminder but very important message, we should all know that all the States of the United States should have their representatives even if it means one person in that State, say State of Oregon for example and therefore, their voices in Aweil youth association. In essence, Aweil youth association as you all know is a common forum for all Aweil youth in the United States of American. It is the only forum that enables us we the youth to pursue any program of our interests as well as matters of a mutual concern. With that simple idea of common interest in mind just for the sake of repetition, our contributions and participation both in terms of ideas and money are of Paramount. Moreover, the source of strength of Aweil youth association depends solely on our interaction among ourselves and continuing support of the organization.
Being charged with the general administrative responsibilities of Aweil youth association in the United States; we the members of the executive committee must always take the lead in this project or any other programs of the association. As a fiduciary I should add, we are fully authorized within the framework of the constitution of Aweil youth association to do whatever we reasonably believe is in the best interest of Aweil youth association and Aweil Community at large. Doing whatever we can, we simply mean that we have consecrated ourselves to do whatever we can, including but not limited to the following financial contributions:

Having portrayed the idea of the unity of purpose as expressed above, the office is now working diligently to send a delegation to visit Aweil for assessment and preparation before the construction process begin next year. So far, we have thirteen members of the delegation team known as general awareness and assessment delegation {GAAD} who will be heading to Aweil in December this year to go and assess the project site before the construction work commence, I apologize for the repetition. These members of the delegation comprise of a few members of the executive committee as well as members of the youth general public. Additionally, the first batch the delegation will be on the ground in Aweil as earlier as October but all of them will meet in December in Aweil town before meeting the Governor and many other State officials. As part of their mission, the delegation will also meet;
- Minister for Education
- Minister for gender and social affairs
- The locals around Nyamlel area to brief them about the project
- Local brick layers and builders in general
- Help nominate project field manager who will be in charge of the construction.
Alternatively, the details of visitation and assessment will be prepared by the office prior to their departure. And finally, the members of delegation will do every thing they can to make sure that all necessary arrangements are made as first step of this project. These members of the delegation team are as follows;

Besides the aforementioned information, the office would once again like to thank and appreciates all member Aweil youth general public for their remarkable and overwhelming support of Aweil youth association. Furthermore, we want to remind you once more that we have never forgotten the recommendations of the previous administration that our current administration inherited. We have so far submitted in our taxes exemption status request to the office of the United States internal revenue service. In the meantime, we are also working on developing the organization’s website and many other programs including designing the organization’s logo.
In conclusion, we encourage everyone to participate or get involve in the programs of the association. We have one and only one reason to unite as Aweil youths, which is collective action and well coordinated effort in order to be able to excel and effective as youth organization. The journey begins here fellows. Keep up your support and active participation or involvement if will. We should by now know that the completion of the high school project requires all of us to stand up and be counted if I could paraphrase the words of Martin Luther King Jr.
Thank you all.
